Council Meeting Affirmation Proposal passed with one friendly amendment:
Pulled previous meeting's consensus on the Media Working Group

Guest Craig Fite proposes the formation of a Media Working Group
Zengers publisher will help but will probably keep publishing Zengers. Rocky
Neptune may keep publishing Street Light, but will help with this. We need a
media arm, if it is a paper or not.

PROPOSAL PASED:
Establish a media working group that will be responsible to effect media in SD
county in order to promote the green message. At least one member of the Green
Party of San Diego County, County Council needs to be an active member of the
Media Working Group to validate the work done by the group.

Mikki proposes:
County council policy, expenditures up to $25 needs to be authorized or can be
denied by one of the chair persons of the county council. Expenditures of $25
or more must be approved by the county council.

Any claim to monies owed by the Uptown Greens regarding the forum on terrorism
is officially absolved.

No one requested delegate compensation.

Some plenary attendees have written reports of their experiences.

Discussion of inventory of Green Party goods.

Up to $200 can be spent on either (total of $400) Hillcrest or Adams street
fair. Up to $50 can be spent to pay participation fees for the Gay Pride
Parade for the GPSD. More money may be alotted later for the Gay Pride Parade
if necessary. 

GPSD county council policy: Each event should have a project manager. The
co-chairs and membership/volunteer coordinator should be procative in this
matter.

Jodi solicited support for the International Villiage Celebration.

Lupita says an event on Friday, August 2 at the holiday inn should be an anchor
point for planning a fund-raiser for Camejo then.

Remind Magali to check up on the GPUS mailer and to get some of those names to
the membership coordinator.

Fundraising committee to meet on May 27th at 6PM, Memorial Day for dinner. 
Jodi to send out details to the internet.

Jodi will bring a card to the General Membership meeting Sunday to get
signatures for Susan Massey to support her fight with cancer. We will pass a
hat.

We need to 
get our phone number in the yellow pages. 
Lupita will check with John about this.
